Manaslu Base Camp trekking is located in 4800-meters altitude from the sea Level: Manaslu is the 7th highest mountain in Nepal with 10 highest peaks. It lies in the northwest central part of Nepal which is in between Annapurna and Langtang-Ganesh Himal ranges. Literally Manaslu means “Mountain of the Spirit’. Also, it provides an option to Cho Oyu for those who want to climb a more assorted and difficult 8,000m.  Manaslu is best known Himal for trekking, hiking, difficult walking and expedition game as well. It is a well-known and well loved but rarely visited trekking area. During Manaslu Base Camp Trek you will see different people like- Gurungs, a Tibeto-Burman people who follow Buddhism with influences of Hinduism live in this region. In low region there are many other castes of peoples like Brahmans, Chhetries, Newars, Ghales, Gurungs, and Tamangs. Talking about the attractive views, you will observe wonderful views of Himalchuli (7893m), Manaslu (8163m), Ganesh Himal, Ngadi Chuli (7879m) and other beautiful peaks; you will also mark stunning varied landscape and diversity in plants and wildlife. This walk offers the amazing views of Glacier, Sama Gaun, tuning views of Manaslu, Naike Peak, Samdo Peak, Birendra Glacial Lake and more. It has long ridge valley with the glacier. Manaslu Base Camp Trekking starts from Arughat Bazaar of Gorkha District along the Budhi Gandaki River to Sama Gaun, which is known as the old salt trading route from Tibet-Nepal. After reaching Sama Gaun, (just under the Manaslu Glacier), the trail leads northwest side through the rhododendron forest than steep climb up to the Manaslu Base Camp. It takes 4 hours to reach Manaslu Base Camp and 2-3 hours down to Sama Gaun.

Day 1
Arrive at Kathmandu

Arrive at the airport and transfer to a hotel.Stay overnight and prepare for the trek ahead.

Day 2
Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Today you travel around around Kathmandu valley for the sight scene. You will visit historical and spiritual attractions; including Durbar Square, Bouddhanath; one of the largest stupas in Nepal, Swayambhunath; top on the hill in the city known as the Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath; Hindus holy place. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3
Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat Bazaar (535m)

From Kathmandu we head to Arughat, by bus or car. After Dhading Bisi or Gorkha Bazaar the road is difficult. Arughat Bazaar is huge, spotless and well-off with hotels and shops. Stay overnight .

Day 4
Trek Aarughat to Soti Khola (720m)

Trek to Soti Khola from Aarughat passing through Budhigandaki river bank. En route we enjoy splendid views of Shringri Himal and local settlement. The path goes through the Gurung and Magar villages, past fields and beautiful waterfalls, we reach Soti Khola. Stay overnight .

Day 5
Trek Soti Khola to Machha Khola (930m)

From Soti Khola, move to Machha khola (Fish River). Machha khola is a village, which is situated above a stream with the same name of Budhigandaki. Stay overnight .

Day 6
Machha Khola – Dobhan (1 000m)

While moving ahead from Macha khola, the slender track has minor ups and downs before crossing the Thado Khola and passing through a rocky gorge to Khorlabesi. Then you will see a small hot spring at Tatopani. The path then goes up a ridge before crossing the Budhi Gandaki on a suspension bridge. A fine stairs leads to a landslide before a final edge to Dobhan. Overnight at Dobhan.

Day 7
Dobhan – Philim (1 590m)

Cross a 93m suspension bridge over the Yaru Khola, then climb stone stairs up and back to the river before climbing to Thado Bharyang. Crossing the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki, we climb a ridge and follow the river tenderly upwards to the village of Jagat. Reaching Salleri, you will be rewarded with views of Sringi Himal (7187m) to the north. You will move down to Sirdibas.Another suspension bridge takes you to the east bank, and a exhausting climb up to Philim: a prosperous Gurung village. Overnight at Philim

Day 8
Philim – Deng (2360m)

From Philim, we move to the Larkya La, all the way through eye-catching forest with views up the narrowing valley to Ekle Bhatti. Follow the trail to the left to Ghap. We now cross the Budhi Gandaki .After a suspension bridge the path enters bamboo forest and rises to the village of Deng. Overnight at Deng.

Day 9
Dang - Ghap (2165m)

We climb through beautiful woods of pine and we get to Bihi Phedi and see sights of Kutang Himal, Mani stones and more. We cross twice, the large Budhi Gandaki and walk many wavering path .Eventually we reach Ghap, magnificent village where we set up camp. Stay overnight .

Day 10
Trek Ghap to Lho (3180m)

With superb views of thick forest we cross Budhi Gandaki and rise tenderly up to Tibetan-run lodge Namrung, views of mountains while trekking from Ghap to Lho. Then the trail goes to broad pastures land to the prehistoric Lihi village and moving down the Lidanda Glaciers we will reach the striking Tibetan village of Sho. We set up camp in Lho, sprawling village decorated with many prayer flags, in the yard of a small lodge and Gomba. Stay overnight .

Day 11
Trek Lho to Sama Gaon (3525m)

The track takes us to new Gomba and then climb to the peaceful Tibetan settlement of Shayla with astonishing peak scenery. Then, the treks moves through the typical alpine leading us to Pung Gyan Gomba, through the fields and finally to the 500 years old settlement Sama Gaon. Stay overnight .

Day 12
Hike to Manaslu Base Camp and Explore day in Sama Gaon for acclimatization

We have a rest day in Sama Gaon for becoming accustomed with the environment. Today you can explore the village and Gombas. On the other hand, you can hike towards Manalsu Base Camp where we'll have eye-catching views of the lake, glacier and valley. A different option is a hike up to Pung Gyen Gompa, at 3870 meters and witness unique natural beauty. Stay overnight .

Day 13
Sama Gaun - Samdo (3850m)

We leave behind Sama Gaon through the long Mani walls and Chorten at Kermo Kharka then move down to the Budi Gandaki. You will be seeing people herding their yaks, sheep and goats, training their horses and planting barley. Camp tonight in Samdo.

Day 14
Trek Samdo - Dharamsala High Camp (Larkya Phedi) (4460m)

From Samdo, the trail leads us to the old trade route towards Tibet. We cross a bridge, and go up through the trade markets of Larkya bazaar. After about three hours of hiking passing through glaciers, with more and more awesome vista, we come to the campsite at Dharamsala, the high camp for the Larkya La pass . Stay overnight .

Day 15
Trek Larkey Phadi - via Larkya La (5,160m) - Bimphedi (3590m)

We begin our track which goes to north side of the Larkya Glaciers where we have sights of Cho Danda and then of Larkya Peak. Then walking about approximately four hours, we will get on the top of the Larkya La (4930m).The fall is vertical, through moraines, towards Bhimphedi. We move down smooth track following the glacial moraine finally to the Bimphedi. Stay overnight .

Day 16
Trek Bimphadi - Tilje (2300m)

Today the path moves down along the fig tree and rhododendrons through the stony river-bed and descending hill-sides to several small lush villages. Ultimately, it takes us to the large village of Tilje, inhabitants of mix of Manangis and Chettris. Stay overnight .

Day 17
Trek Tilje - Tal (1680m)

From Tilje the Dudh Khola through bamboo forests down to Dharapani .Moving further to the south on the main Annapurna Circuit trail, and following down the Marsyangdi River, we cross bridge twice to reach the small village of Karte. And, we slide down along the cliff rocky trail before crossing the Marsyangdi river. Then, we witness the large plain and waterfall at scenic Tal (lake). Stay overnight .

Day 18
Trek Tal - Syange (110m) and drive - Besi Sahar (825m)

On this day we steadily walk down along the Masyangdi riverside, Tal Phedi and small teahouses at Sattale through the green forest and wild Mariana to the another suspension bridge nearby Chamje with a eye-catching cascade. Now, we descent through the woods, that takes us to the attractive paved village of Jagat, after that we arrive at the small village of Syange, and drive to Besi Sahar . Stay overnight .

Day 19
Drive Besi Sahar to Kathmandu

Take a ride from Besi Sahar to Kathmandu which takes about 6-7 hrs.You can take rest or enjoy shopping at Kathmandu. Stay overnight .

Day 20
Final Departure

Arrive at the airport and check in for final departure.
