The trek starts from Khudi bazaar of Lamjung district. The trail passes all the way through a choice of Gurung settlements of Ghalegaun, Ghanapokhara, Bhujung, Pasgaun, Nagighar and Paharikot. Magnificent views of Annapurna range can be seen throughout the trek The terrain is mild steep and bisected vertically at several places.. Every village on the way has its own Aama Samuha (mother’s group)that is active and dedicated to the development of their villages. They are also active in hospitality, environment protection and cultural programs, conflict managing in the society as well as family and a variety of income generating activities.
