Kathmandu Rim Trek provides excellent short and leisurely trek with the amazing sight of historical monuments, traditional art and architectures, and lifestyles. Everest in the east of Nepal. The hike offers a rich insight into the lives, history, culture and religion, together with the picturesque daily work in the fields by its inhabitant. The valley perimeters are located between 1800meters and 2800meters and in spring it offers viewpoints like Chisapani, Jhule, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Balthali and stretches from Everest in the east to Annapurna in the west.
Kathmandu is also known as City of Temples.There are a lot of different temples in the valley each distinctively different from the other in its cultural values,aspects as well as structure.Some of the famous temples are Swayambhunath,Boudhanath,Pashupatinath,Durbar Squares ,etc.All of these have been inducted as a World Heritage Site.Kathmandu also offers wildlife reserves,floral reserve and much more.

Day 1

Arrival Day
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Kathmandu Exploration Day
You go for the Kathmandu sightseeing tour. You will be visiting various UNESCO CULTURAL HERITAGE SITES in Kathmandu.
Swoyambhunath - The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, a beautiful abode for lots of monkeys thus also known as Monkey Temple, is also a perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley.
Pashupatinath- A holy pilgrimage for Hindus and Hindu Crematorium, watch as the Hindu dead bodies are cremated in the most unique way in the world; we come across men with ash rubbed body, matted locks and dreaded look which is typical look of a Hindu Holy Men known as Sadhus.
Boudhanath- the biggest Buddhist temple in the world; a site for Tibetan Buddhism where we can visit monasteries, watch the Holy Monks busy in their chanting ritual going around the temple.
Patan Durbar Square- A Medieval Royal Palace area which is also known as the city of fine arts, we can see the finest example of metal and stone carving back to 14th century and also the amazing Nepali Architecture.

Day 3

Kathmandu - Chisapani
Drive for about half an hour to Sundarijal, a village in the outskirts of Kathmandu.After an uphill walk for about five hours, you reach an amazing place called Chisapani where you will spend the night . As you take a very paced walk up towards Chisapani, you will come across beautiful forested area, local village and villagers. You will enjoy the nature and the culture of the area.
Stay overnight at Chisapani.

Day 4

Chisapani - Nagarkot
It will take about seven hours to reach Nagarkot from chisapani, a stunning view point and a nice country side. You will walk the trail enjoying the nature and culture passing through forested area and villages overlooking the mountain ranges at the background.

Day 5

Nagarkot hike to Dhulikhel
From Nagarkot it takes about six hours to reach the beautiful town of Dhulikhel.You can enjoy the culture that flourishes Dhulikhel.Enjoy local foods and the environment.Check into hotel and stay overnight.

Day 6
|
Dhulikhel - Kathmandu
Prepare to drive back to Kathmandu. It takes about one and half hours to reach Kathmandu and check into hotel.
Take a leisurely walk around Thamel for a delicious lunch, nice massage, souvenir shopping and enjoy Nepali cultural dinner in the evening.

Departure
Final day of the trip. Drive back to the airport for final departure.
